SudokuStreak ("the app", "we") is a daily Sudoku game. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. The short version: we collect only what's needed to run your account, streak, and the optional social features. There are no ads, no third-party trackers, and we never sell your data.
You can play the daily puzzle, keep a streak, and use every solo feature without signing in. In that mode all of your data — your play history, streak, and settings — stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Signing in is optional and uses Sign in with Apple. We never see your Apple password. Apple gives the app a private account identifier; we do not collect or store your email address or real name. When you have an account, we store the following in our database so your profile and social features work:
The "Invite from Contacts" option uses Apple's system contact picker. The app does not get access to your contacts list — Apple returns only the single phone number you tap, and only to pre-fill an invite message you choose to send. We do not store your contacts.
Account data is stored using Supabase, our backend provider, on servers in the European Union. Access is protected by row-level security so you can only read and write your own data and data your friends have shared with you.
You can delete on-device data by removing the app. To delete your account and all associated server data (profile, results, friends), email us and we'll remove it.
SudokuStreak is rated for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
