Effective date: 18 June 2026
Big Day ("the app", "we", "us") is built privacy-first. This policy explains what data is and isn't involved when you use the app.
Stored on your device and synced through your own iCloud account (Apple CloudKit) so they appear on your other devices. This data lives in your private iCloud — we have no access to it and never receive it. Apple processes it under Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you subscribe or buy the lifetime unlock, the purchase is processed by Apple and managed via RevenueCat, our subscription provider. To check whether you have an active subscription, RevenueCat processes a randomly-generated app user ID and purchase/receipt information. This is not linked to your name or identity and is used only to deliver and restore your purchase. We never receive your payment details. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you turn on reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device. No reminder data leaves your device.
If you choose a photo for a countdown, you pick it through Apple's system photo picker. The selected image is stored with that countdown (on your device / your iCloud). The app does not access your photo library beyond the image you explicitly choose.
Your data stays until you remove it. You can delete everything at any time in Settings → Delete all data, which removes your countdowns from the device and your iCloud. Purchase records held by Apple/RevenueCat are retained per their policies.
Big Day is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them. (The app collects no personal data from anyone.)
Because we don't hold your personal data, there's nothing for us to export or delete on our servers. Your data is under your control on your device and in your iCloud account.
We may update this policy; the effective date above will change accordingly.
